The Wise Man

After 16 wonderful years at The Wise Man, it is with a very heavy heart that I announce we will be closing our doors with immediate effect. I have poured everything I have into this pub over the years, and together we have shared countless memorable moments, celebrations, and friendships. The Wise Man has been more than just a business—it has been a huge part of my life and a place at the heart of our community. While we have enjoyed many successful and happy years, the challenges facing the hospitality industry have become increasingly difficult. Unfortunately, despite every effort to keep going, the business has continued to spiral into debt, leaving me with no choice but to make this incredibly difficult decision.
