The Burn

Located at the foot of Glen Esk in a spectacular rural setting, The Burn consists of a 200 acre private estate with an imposing Georgian mansion house at its centre. Built in 1791 for General Lord Adam Gordon, the mansion house serves as the perfect venue for meetings, away-days, family celebrations and gatherings of all kinds; including weddings. The house can comfortably accommodate up to 40 people and has 18 well-appointed guest bedrooms. In addition, The Burn has two further letting properties - a six bedroom courtyard house and a two bedroom gate house. All three properties can be hired for large events and if taken together can accommodate up to 60 guests with 26 bedrooms. The Burn is conveniently located to be a base for exploring both the coast and the Cairngorms National Park.
