The Olde Dog Inn

We have launched our new main menu, specialised for the warm weather. With a wider range of light bites and lighter mains, we have something for everyone for the summer months. The Olde Dog Inn at Herongate Tye is a picturesque Essex weather boarded inn. Known to date from the early 16th century, the pub has been serving good beer and food for hundreds of years. A wealth of traditional features greets you upon arrival with low-beamed ceilings, exposed fireplaces and a friendly atmosphere.
