The Akeman

Tring, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom

Pub
The pub is undergoing a refurbishment over the next few weeks, and we'll be back open on Saturday 1st August. Join our mailing list and follow us on socials to keep up to date on the progress and our plans for reopening. We look forward to welcoming you all back soon. Visit the Tufted Duck (formerly the Akeman) and you'll find a newly renovated Victorian building, designed by local architect William Huckvale in 1901. Original features like the fireplace in the bar have been senstively restored and sit alongside a fresh, contemporary look. The name comes from local wildlife - Tufted Ducks are found on the nearby reservoirs and feature in the collection at the Tring Natural History Museum.
