The Walton Arms

Lancashire, Lancashire, United Kingdom

Pub
Andrew & Danny along with their team welcome you to The Walton Arms. As the only pub in the village of Altham and the present building over two hundred years old its walls hold plenty of history and could surely tell a tale or two. The original parts of the main building started life as a coaching inn named The Black Bull with its location on what was at one time a main route between Yorkshire and Lancashire, although it is told that the site has been home to a hostelry since saxon times, when it was on the pilgrimage trail to nearby Whalley Abbey.
