In gentler weather there is a beautiful walk along the River Waveney from Beccles, the Southern Gateway to the Norfolk Broads. Alternatively, the No. 60 bus stops directly outside the pub, serving Beccles, Bungay and Lowestoft with links to Great Yarmouth, Norwich and beyond.
