Flat Iron Tottenham Court Road

London, London, United Kingdom

Restaurant
Our Denmark Street restaurant on Tottenham Court Road has had many lives. Built in the late 1600s, in the early days it was a weaver’s studio. Later, in the 1960s, when Denmark Street was known as London’s Tin Pan Alley, it became La Giaconda Café, the place where musicians would hang out. David Bowie met his first backing group in the same space where Flat Iron now sits, and everyone from The Kinks to Stevie Wonder to Jimi Hendrix recorded music in the street.
