Home to Edinburgh's best beer garden with the biggest outdoor screen in the city! ​ The Pear Tree, a pub of many years, housed in arguably one of Edinburgh’s most historic buildings. The House was built in 1759 and has seen many a famous resident over the years. Thomas Blaclock (the Blind Poet), Rabbie Burns and the Usher family to name but a few. ​ As you enter through the front door you are flanked by two huge trees where the pub gets its name from. The pear trees, now 170 years old still flower and bare fruit each year. ​ The beer garden with its giant LED screen (thought to be the biggest in a beer garden anywhere in Scotland) is the perfect place to watch rugby.
